Set up your tracker

Every Bitcointalk account has a unique numeric User ID (UID). You can find yours by visiting your profile page. The URL will look like this:

The number after u= is your UID. In the example above, the UID is 123456. Copy this number — you'll need it in the next step.

In the setup screen, enter your Bitcointalk username and the UID you found in Step 1. Then choose how to get your stats:

Once you're in the app, click ⟳ Sync Live Stats in the topbar to pull your latest data. The app tracks these five core metrics:

Sync anytime via the topbar button. Remember: Bitcointalk only updates these counters once per hour, so syncing immediately after a post won't show new stats yet.

Activity is calculated using the formula: activity = min(periods × 14, total_posts)

• Periods — distinct 2-week windows where you've posted at least once
• 14 max per period — even if you post 100 times in a window, only 14 activity points are earned
• Consistency wins — posting once every few days across many periods beats posting 100 times in one week
• Hourly updates — Bitcointalk processes activity counters once per hour on their servers

Merit is awarded by other users for high-quality posts. It cannot be earned by posting volume alone — it must be given to you by someone else, especially a Merit Source.

Ranking up requires a combination of activity and merit. Here are the most effective habits:

The app fetches your Bitcointalk profile through Cointikka's own relay (a small server that adds the headers browsers require to read another site), with a backup relay if the primary one is briefly unreachable. This has some limitations:

The Campaign Tracker tab lets you measure exactly how many posts you made in any custom date range — useful for signature campaigns, bounties, and personal weekly targets.

🔒 Available from Member rank and above — signature campaigns generally require Member or higher, so the tab unlocks once you reach that rank.
